Rock Creek Loop- Big South Fork

The Rock Creek Loop in Big South Fork National Recreation Area is A 7-mile loop that highlights a lot of the features that Big South Fork is known for. Several rock houses, water crossings, and good views throughout. This hike has great solitude. We saw one couple backpacking the John Muir trail with their dog. Saw no one else the entire time. My Jeep was the only vehicle at the trailhead parking at start and finish.
A Tip on this one – if you feel like you’ve suddenly lost the trail , it crosses the creek.
I would definitely like to do this one again in spring
